If you have been following the news, you know that on Monday, April 8, a total solar eclipse will be visible to millions across the United States. As I mentioned when talking about “The Rebirth of America Dream,” this eclipse will be a significant marker in time.
On March 9, I saw in a dream from the Lord a series of events which started with the eclipse on April 8 and lasted for more than a year. I saw the eclipse trigger a conception which led to the rebirth of America, the results of which would be evident in July 2025.
The Lord speaks some interesting things through the heavens—the stars, the moon, and all that. A lot of people get freaked out by Christians talking about the stars, because occultists talk about stars when they practice astrology. Astrology is just a counterfeit for the practice of looking for the signs God placed in the heavens. “God said, ‘Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens … and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years’” (see Genesis 1:14).
Eclipses have historically been seen as signs of judgment, war, or other significant events. Since the United States was formed, there have been eight total solar eclipses crossing the entire country. All of them coincided with significant events, from one on June 24, 1778, not long after the U.S. declared independence from British rule, to one on August 21, 2017, when witches around the world began a crusade to use black magic against President Donald Trump.
The coming eclipse on April 8 will be the ninth large-scale total solar eclipse since our nation was founded. The number nine signifies something interesting; it means the conclusion of a matter, the fulfillment of a plan.
With no prior communication, the MorningStar University Company of Prophets put together a map related to the eclipse the same day I had my dream about the rebirth of America. The April 8 eclipse’s path of totality goes through towns called Nineveh in Indiana, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas, as well as Nineveh, Nova Scotia, Canada. The path of totality also includes Rapture, Indiana, and Jonah, Texas. What does this eclipse have to do with Nineveh and Jonah?
Some Bible scholars speculate, bolstered by strong scientific and archeological evidence, that Jonah's preaching at Nineveh coincided with the Bur-Sagale eclipse in 763 B.C. This eclipse is chronicled in ancient Assyrian texts. In Assyrian culture, an eclipse was considered a sign that both the ruler and the walls of the nation were about to be thrown down, and it would have caused great alarm—especially if Jonah was preaching around the same time.
There will be other signs in the heavens with this eclipse. The constellation Pisces, the fish, corresponds to Dagon, the fish god that Nineveh worshiped, representing idolatry in that nation and in ours. This seems to point to judgment against false gods. It also will appear in the constellation Cetus, the whale. Jonah was swallowed by a great fish. It also will be seen in the constellation Aries, the ram, which corresponds to the apostolic message of Christ crucified. The planet Jupiter will be visible as a reminder of Christ's absolute supremacy and authority. The comet 12P/Pons-Brooks will also be visible in Aries, pointed towards Jupiter, which references the coming kingdom of heaven and Daniel 12.
I believe this eclipse is a sign we are entering a time of turbulence that will culminate with a rebirth of the nation. This is an example of creation telling us something. Let’s not be like the Pharisees and Sadducees, whom Jesus criticized for being able to predict the weather but not being able to “discern the signs of the times.”
“Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” And He left them and departed” (Matthew 16:1-4).
What is the sign of Jonah? In Matthew 12:40, Jesus compared Himself to Jonah: “For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” Just as Jonah escaped death and was able to tell Nineveh to repent, Jesus overcame death so we can repent. In Matthew 12:41, Jesus points out that Nineveh repented after hearing from Jonah, but those who ignore Him will face judgment.
I encourage you to read about “The Rebirth of America Dream” if you haven’t and to pray about the events I saw in the dream. We don't need to get in fear, but we do need to get prepared. Because the people of Nineveh repented, God saved Nineveh from the destruction Jonah prophesied (see Jonah 3:10). We can also choose to respond to what we are seeing with humility, prayer, and repentance. The Lord has said He will hear us if we do.
“When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:13-14).
