As we continue to see the Lord strategically aligning us through the fall in our assignments and relationships, October will be a month of seeing the weight and baggage we have been carrying with us from the previous season being removed from us.
The Lord has assigned angels to serve many in the body of Christ who are ready to move into the new. It will be vital that you do not try to free yourself from those things you still feel tied to. You have carried some things with you that you have not wanted to let go of that cannot move with you into your new season. There are also things you have brought with you that you have not been able to get free from that have kept you bound.
It is vital that you do not try to free yourself by your own effort, it will only lead to frustration. As you rest in the presence of the Lord, He will remove every weight and sin trying to entangle you, allowing you to run the race set before you.
Psalm 23:5-6
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over,
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.
In a dream I had on 29 September 2023,
I found myself at a banquet. Many people were in the room with me, ready for a ceremonial event.
The room was very large,
elaborate, and beautifully decorated. There were many large tables throughout
the room. The event took place on a Sunday, and the organizer told us we would
not be allowed to do any work during the event. They also announced that the
servers would not be serving out of obligation but out of their desire to serve
those attending the banquet.
The servers were butlers dressed in the most formal butler
attire, and a large feast had been prepared for us. There was a tangible
excitement in the room for what lay ahead.
We were asked to take our seats and told to ‘strap in.’ I noticed I had a seat belt similar to one on an airplane. I placed it around my waist and strapped myself in. The ceremony was about to begin, and the organizer instructed us to stay strapped in our seats. We were told that the feast was ready and that our meals were about to be brought to our tables but that our luggage needed to be removed before we could eat.
As I scanned the room, I noticed the luggage the people had brought with them. Some had huge suitcases, while others had hand luggage and large backpacks. All the luggage needed to be removed both big and small.
I saw the butlers begin moving quickly through the room, they were kind to the guests, who remained seated in their seats, as they began removing the baggage the guests had brought in with them. The butlers were on task, effective in executing their assignment, and I realized that the baggage removal was the 'ceremony' before the feast.
I then woke up from the dream.
October will be a month of resting in the Lord. ‘Stay seated’ and ‘lock in’ to His presence. Refrain from works. The Lord has prepared a table for you in the presence of your enemies, He will go before you and will cause your cup to overflow.
As you rest in the Lord this month, things will begin to fall away as angels on assignment sent by the Lord on your behalf work effectively to remove things weighing you down. Heaviness, depression, hope deferred, discouragement, confusion, doubt, false expectation, wrong alignments, and the enemy's lies will be removed, leaving you with anticipation for what lies ahead of you.
The Lord will treat this as a ceremony, celebrating this event because it will bring you great freedom and joy, and allow you to move forward without hindrance into the abundant blessings you will feast on in the days ahead.
