As I was seeking the Lord today, I sense the Lord was showing me that many have been overwhelmed by the level of chaos that we are seeing in our world on a daily basis. Many personal issues and ongoing battles have compounded these overwhelming feelings causing many to feel weary and disoriented as well.
There is an invitation from the Lord right now to come into a deeper level of trust and surrender. I sense the Lord wanting to encourage His bride that He alone is our Prince of Peace. He is our very anchor when everything around us is swirling and feels as though it is out of control. God is on His throne! He is Sovereign! He is fully in control and He rules and reigns above the chaos and turmoil. He is good and His plans for you are only for good. He is the Creator of Heaven and Earth and He rules above it all!
"The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all." Psalm 103:19 NIV
I sense Him saying, "Beloved, cease from your striving and surrender your worries and concerns to Me. Trust Me with it all. I am willing and able to weave my good into the most unlikely situations and circumstances. Will you trust Me?"
"The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love." Psalm 145:8 NIV
He does not condemn us for our struggles or areas of weakness and brokenness. His heart is completely for us! Be encouraged today that He sees you right now, where you are, what you are going through, and what is surrounding you seemingly on all sides. He is aware of what concerns you and He wants you to invite Him into every circumstance, great and small. He is calling us to a deeper level of trust and surrender.
