Last night I was having a beautiful conversation with an old friend about an encounter I had with the kindness of God. In the encounter everything that appeared as “defeat” on earth was transformed into absolute victory in heaven— EVERYTHING!
I was explaining to my friend how the only two words that I could use to describe what I experienced in this encounter (that was transforming everything) was: His kindness. His kindness was so generous, so patient, so enduring and so overwhelming that I was brought to my knees in awe and deep gratitude. It was a song that penetrated every part of my being until I was fully immersed in His victory.
This morning I was meditating upon Psalm 32 and as I read these words I began to hear the song of victory once again.
“For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” Psalms 32:7-8
I then heard His Spirit say,
“In 2023, I will surround my people in songs of victory. I will hide them from trouble and I will lead them upon the pathways forged by My kindness.”
Although we do not know what the year ahead holds for each one of us personally or for mankind globally— each one of His children can receive this word as a promise. He will turn every defeat (or the earthly appearance of defeat) and He will release songs of victory over you. He will hide you in the endless kindness of His love and He will guide you to the pathways that have been prepared and forged for you out of his merciful kindness— paths of victory, paths of hope, glory and salvation.
This is salvations song! He is surrounding you with songs of victory. You are not leaving 2022 in defeat or despair but immersed in His kindness and His song. Even now He is releasing songs of victory over you that are transforming you and redeeming you. You are being invited into the song of the redeemed— the song of victory that will surround you and deliver you from trouble.
The pathway of 2023 for you has been prepared by His kindness, mercy and victory. Right now, go to Him as your hiding place and receive all of the benefits promised to you in Psalm 32:7-8. Here they are once again,
“For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.”
If you will remain in Him as your hiding place and refuge— you will experience miracles and see amazing signs and wonders that your children and your children’s children will tell the stories of. Your life will become a song of victory!
