'Christ Be Magnified' Angie Stolba

Colossians 3:2 ESV

Recently, as I was seeking the Lord, He began to download a word to me.

I received a picture of a magnifying glass and a mirror. The mirror was like one of those funhouse carnival mirrors that distort your image when you look into it.

I'm sure you know the type I'm talking about: the kind of mirror that can make someone appear shorter and heavier than they truly are.

I then heard the Lord say, "You are breaking new ground and standing on the very threshold of breakthrough and promotion. Pay no attention to the 'smoke and mirrors' that the enemy is seeking to distract you with; rather, keep your eyes on Me and focus on the things above!"

The mirror represents the enemy's attempts to distort people's vision and bring deception. A lot of these attempts are false evidence appearing to be real. The magnifying glass that I received a picture of was symbolic of the enemy's attempt to magnify circumstances that many are currently dealing with; he is looking for your agreement that these things are bigger and worse than they truly are.

However, the Lord is saying, "In all things, let Christ be magnified!"

Stand on God's Word, for He is our final authority and absolute Truth! While the enemy may attempt to magnify the adversity that you have been encountering, it is temporary. The Lord is reminding us that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). He says, "I am the God Who works all things together for good! When My children cry out to Me, I am ready and willing to extend mercy and grace in their time of need, even in their weariness and weakness."

But He gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:

“God opposes the proud  but shows favor to the humble.”

James 4:6 NIV

"Be encouraged: the shaking you are encountering will subside, and all will be well! Throw off false accusations or any condemnation, and stand boldly in the Truth of My Word!

It is your authority! When you have done all that you know to do, continue to stand. Praise Me, magnify Me, and watch as the giants you see today be no more" (Exodus 14:13).

You are quickly coming into your finest hour: promises fulfilled and victory in every front! Let Christ be magnified, today and always.

But the Lord stood with me and gave me strength so that I might preach the Good News in its entirety for all the Gentiles to hear. And he rescued me from certain death.

2 Timothy 4:17 NLT
