"Encountering The Angel Gabriel"Pete Garza
Preparing the Father's Table
Recently I was in London, England, waiting to catch a flight back to the United States. At approximately 3:30 a.m. I was taken into Heaven and saw myself standing next to this large, long table. At first glance of this table, I could feel all my senses and emotions being increased. I could feel joy, love, compassion and family. It was majestic. As far as I could see, there were chairs and a never ending table...the Father's table. I was simply mesmerized by what I was seeing.
Then instantly as I was standing by the Father's table, out of know where appears a man. In this encounter, I could feel such a sense of urgency and authority that this man was carrying. There was a heavy presence of reverence and respect, and all I wanted to do was sit and watch him. This man was dressed sharp and pristine, wearing all white work pants and a white long sleeve shirt. It was clear that he was focused on a task at hand.
He was walking back and forth multiple times around the Father's table. As I started to look closely, I began to see this man pulling beautiful gold plates from the air. These plates would supernaturally appear as he pulled them from the air above him.
Still mesmerized by what I was seeing, I asked him, "Who are you and what are you doing?" This man paused and looked directly at me and replied, "I'm Gabriel and I'm on assignment!" He went on to say that he was preparing the Father's table for the Bride. Right after He spoke this, I was immediately taken out of the encounter.
Gabriel: God's Trusted Messenger
We know from Scripture that the angel Gabriel is a messenger who was entrusted to deliver several important messages on God's behalf.
Daniel 8: 17, "As Gabriel approached the place where I was standing, I became so terrified that I fell with my face to the ground. 'Son of man,' he said, 'you must understand that the events you have seen in your vision relate to the time of the end.'"
Gabriel foretells the birth of John the Baptist: Luke 1:11-13, "While Zechariah was in the sanctuary, an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing to the right of the incense altar. Zechariah was shaken and overwhelmed with fear when he saw him. But the angel said, 'Don't be afraid, Zechariah! God has heard your prayer. Your wife, Elizabeth, will give you a son, and you are to name him John.'"
Gabriel foretells the birth of Jesus: Luke 1:26-32, "In the sixth month of Elizabeth's pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee, to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David. Gabriel appeared to her and said, 'Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you!' Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what the angel could mean. 'Don't be afraid, Mary,' the angel told her, 'for you have found favor with God! You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name Him Jesus. He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His ancestor David.'"
It's Time for the Supernatural to Manifest in Our Lives
There were many things that really stood out to me in this encounter with Gabriel. You see, Gabriel has come to deliver a message to the Bride. It's time for the supernatural things to begin to manifest in our lives. You see, Gabriel was supernaturally manifesting the gold plates from thin air, which speaks of the season of supernatural favor. God is preparing the banquet table for the Bride to feast on. This is an invitation to the Father's table of full provision and manna.
Gabriel has always been a personal messenger for the Father. God has entrusted him to deliver this message to you and me, the Bride. While God has called His heavenly messengers to work on His behalf, He has also called angels to work in our lives in very profound ways. Gabriel is an incredible example of this. God loves us so much that He sends His angels to guard, guide, and protect us through various stages of our life.
Although we may not immediately see the angels are around us, they are there at God's direction and working to assist us in this life and the next. These are the angels on assignments! Gabriel is now on assignment on behalf of the Bride, preparing the way and assisting the Father in setting your place at the Father's table. This is an open invitation for to encounter the greater glory and to sit with the Father at His table. Will you come to the table today?
